Congratulations to our grade nine class of 2020! Click here to see the closing ceremony as well as the grade 9 slideshow.
The school year is quickly coming to a close and we have been planning our final farewells to our grade 9 students. The present CPHO guidelines, including limiting the number of people at gathering to under 50 and individuals 6 feet apart, present challenges for all activities being planned in our communities. Keeping these guidelines in mind, this year we will be celebrating our grade 9’s through a video presentation as well as an evening for individual recognition and final good-byes.
The video presentation will follow the format of our regular closing, and the link will be emailed to families the morning of Monday, June 22nd. This is not a live feed so the video can be viewed at anytime that is convenient for you. That same evening, (Monday, June 22) between 5:00 pm-8:00 pm, the grade 9 students will be invited to visit the school. Students will be presented with their certificate, report card, yearbook, etc. There will also be an opportunity for some photos. We will provide a photographer for this and will send the pictures to the parent/guardian at no cost. We are looking forward to wishing them well before they head off to Westisle.
Please note - we will be sending more details out in the coming days in regards to the times for arrival, number of family members able to enter the school with student, parking details, process for the movement of students through, expectations regarding the CPHO guidelines, etc. ... as you can appreciate, things seem to be changing on a daily basis, so it is difficult to determine some of the details!
