Google Classroom

If a Hernewood student does not know their login and password to access their Google account:

1. Check with your child to see if they know it , and maybe even get them to try it. Remind them that they must be using their "user-id"@cloud.edu.pe.ca  to log into google drive. Note: There user ID is what they have always used to log in to the chromebooks at the school. Hint: Their "user-id" has 4 letters and 4 numbers in it and their new password is a combination of letters, numbers and symbols.

2. If they do not have it, email pjsweet@edu.pe.ca with the student's name and a phone number. Mrs. Sweet will need to speak with a parent/guardian. You will be contacted as soon as possible. Note: passwords can not be provided to you by email, text, or Facebook messenger for security reasons.

Google classroom can be accessed by logging in to your student account through a computer, phone/tablet (there is an Classroom App), Xbox or PlayStation. Go to any internet browser and then visit: https://classroom.google.com

Step 1: Go to classroom.google.com and log in to your username@cloud.edu.pe.ca account. If you do not remember your username and/or password see the instructions lower on this page for more information.

Step 2: After you have logged in, the classes that you are enrolled in should appear on your Google Classroom home page. If you are missing a class you will need to add it manually. To add a class click the "+" located on the top right of the Google Classroom home screen. Enter the class code and then click "Join". Note: If you need a class code please email your teacher. Visit Hernewood's Staff Page for email addresses.

Step 3: You can navigate through all you classes by selecting the hamburger menu         located on the top left of the page.

Reminder: Students should be checking their Gmail that is linked to their @cloud account regularly. Do this by logging in to their school account and then clicking the Google apps button         located on the top right of the page. Gmail, Google Classroom, Docs and many other useful apps can be found there.
